An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a relatively new main contractor. Established to initially serve as sole main contractor for one of London’s most successful private Property Development businesses, this business has been able to begin operations delivering large multimillion pound major projects from the start, without competition, thanks to the financial backing and nature of its partner company. 2021 is set to be a very good year for the business already, with a packed order book and £100m worth of work due to start in the first half of the year alone.
Given the age & size of the business this is a great opportunity for anyone with aspirations of progressing to running your own projects in Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor roles while this cash-rich business continues to grow.
The business is set up to provide new build and fit-out project delivery services operating out of its London office. Current and completed projects have been commercial, mixed use or residential new builds and/or fit-outs.
The initial project lined up for the successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor is located in Croydon and is a large new build of RC frame blocks for high end apartments, to be delivered over 2 phases.
This is a no.2 on site Quantity Surveyor role managing packages/sections of the scheme from start to completion. This role will see you reporting into the Senior Quantity Surveyor on site.
Experience working on sizeable construction projects will be necessary and, given the size and duration of this project, this employer will prefer CVs which demonstrate a stable work history, having spent multiple years with previous employers respectively.
