Assistant Quantity Surveyor (Civils) - Cambridgeshire

A respectable multi-disciplined contractor that delivers specialist earthworks, demolition, asbestos removal and civils solutions to a variety of clients based in East Midlands through to East Anglia are looking to boost their Commercial team. They have identified the need to recruit an ambitious individual that is keen to build a career with an expanding organisation whilst enhancing their commercial abilities.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, your duties will be to:

• Work closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor to ensure that all schemes are run successfully from a commercial perspective
• Operate using both NEC and JCT forms of contract
• Ensure that all paperwork on assigned projects is complete to deadline

The ideal Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be either degree-qualified, currently partaking in a degree or keen to study in either Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying. A keen passion for the civil engineering industry would also be advantageous.
