Calco Services has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager with a major Independent Connections Provider (ICP), respected throughout the industry not only for the quality of training and development they provide but also for the excellent engineering and construction service they offer to organisations requiring new connections (11kV and 33kV) in the commercial, residential and industrial sectors. 

As Assistant Project Manager, you will receive full training and support to become an HV Project Manager in this busy and growing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager in leading the construction of HV installations / new connections
• Help bring about projects to a successful close, on time and within budget
• Ensure adherence to health and safety on site
• Oversee contractors working on HV and civil installation / construction activities
• Carry out risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
• Liaise with local authorities, Highways Agency and Distribution Network Operator (DNO)

Requirements:

• Qualifications in Electrical Engineering
• Driving licence
• Background in electrical installations and supervision – within the HV, LV / building services sectors
• CSCS Card
