Assistant Estimator-NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Surrey

Following a successful end to 2017, a specialist groundworks contractor based in Surrey has wants to expand their pre-construction team in order to further increase their workload.

This is a medium sized, family-run contractor that is a well-respected name in the market. They have a client base made up of some customers who have worked with them for over a decade, they are looking to build new working relationships. Main contractors make up the majority of this client base, along with a few developers and private clients.

The role will see you:

• Assist the Estimating Manager and Estimator to price new tenders within a competitive market
• Work closely with the operational, commercial and design teams
• Help to build new and maintain current relationships with customers

The ideal Assistant Estimator will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering or another relevant qualification. Please note that no experience is required for this role.

The Estimating Manager is looking to build a team of ambitious individuals that can assist in taking the company forward. He has over a decade of experience that you can have the opportunity to learn from and he believes strongly in training and developing staff to their potential. He also has a great reputation for rewarding his staff both from a monetary and progression perspective.
