This is an Assistant Building Control role working in a local authority based in South East London/ Kent border area.

They are looking for an Assistant Building Control Surveyor to join their busy team, on a full-time contract basis. The purpose of the role is to assist the head of building control in checking plans and technical works for projects.

This role as Assistant Building Control will mean ensuring a high quality and cost-effective service which meets the statutory requirements in place. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will need to have at least a year of previous experience in a construction/surveying role and have a construction/surveying related degree.

On offer to the chosen Assistant Building Control Surveyor is an hourly rate of up to £19 p/h and a long term contract.
