Area Contract Manager - Surrey

This company have a reputation for excellence in customer service, quality and innovation and now have an opportunity for an Area Contract Manager to join them! 

Up to £42,000 + (Package* Company Van/ Car Allowance, Discretionary Bonus, Company pension at 3%, 28 days holiday (Increasing by 1 yearly))

Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey (KT1)

The Role for the chosen Area Contract Manager:

With a recent reinstatement contract won with a large client in the Utility sector, an Area Contracts Manager is required to come in and manage the different sites and works that are taking place. With a focus on; SHEQ, HR, Street Works and Customers, you will be ensuring that current legislations are followed and specifications are achieved by applying their policies and procedures.

Main Duties:

• Ensure full compliance with legislation and specs are achieved
• Follow procedures & policies
• Take responsibility for all SHEQ matters
• Carry out pre-site surveys in regards to SHEQ
• Ensure safe systems of work are followed within Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS)
• Develop relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Take control of recruitment, training & performance management within teams
• Ensure all works are delivered within contractual agreements & KPI’s

Personal Attributes:

• Experience in Highways/ Reinstatement
• Experience in similar role (managing operational teams)
• Capable of working both on site and in an office environment

Qualifications:

• SMSTS/ IOSH or Equivalent
• NRSWA Supervisor Qualification
• EUSR Passport
