Are you an experienced Architectural Assistant looking for a stable role in a busy development business?

• An opportunity with a reputable Watford-based developer has arisen for an experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant. This developer specialises in the construction and sale of small and medium sized high-end residential developments.
• Based from their head office in Watford, you’ll work on several new developments alongside their in-house Senior Architectural team. The business is a very successful developer with a reputation for high quality building and operates in the South East on England.
• You’ll work with an experienced and friendly team on both new build and refurbishment projects.
• There may be an amount of flexibility possible in regards to working hours/days for anyone with this requirements for studies or other.

Requirements:

• Fully proficient in the use of AutoCAD for preparing early design, planning, detail design and construction drawings with both speed and accuracy.
• Demonstrable previous experience within the UK residential sector, in particular multi-unit developments.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision, under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Other IT skills to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook and SketchUp.
• Able to analyse and find solutions to problems.
• Team player able to make suggestions and valuable contributions within the team.
• Organised, proactive, efficient and self-motivated.
• Flexible approach to work and tasks allocated.
• Minimum 1-2 years post Part 2 experience required.
• Must have full driving license with access to own vehicle (due to office location)
