Protection Engineer

If you've had experience in the design of protection systems in the area of power transmission and distribution and you're looking for a new challenge, this job may appeal to you. You'll be working for a company who specialise in EHV substations in the UK and overseas. You'll need to have experience of voltages up to 132kV, working for UK power utilities, the National Grid or companies working on National Grid projects. You will need to be familiar with industrial standards including EN, BS, TPS and NGTS. You'll also need to have a good experience in main protection and connection diagrams, protection setting calculations, protection design including circuit diagrams and interface cable connection diagrams.
