Senior Policy Planner

In this role you will be acting as a Senior Policy Planner joining this busy local authority in Hampshire. You will be working closely with the other policy team to ensure that excellent service is achieved throughout the whole planning section; other tasks will require your active involvement in the Local Development Framework for Planning and the Local Plans. You will be responsible for commenting and providing suggestions for the improvements of these policies. You will be attending committee meetings, public consultations and dealing with inquiries from members of the public. Must have a degree in Planning or equivalent and hold a full UK's drivers license.
