Clerk of Works

Working with this local authorities housing portfolio you will undertake the full range of Clerk of Works duties. Working with the Contact Administrator from the in-house or externally designed projects or schemes as required. You will be working under the direction of the Client Partnering Manager for works packages on Project Partnering Contracts.

The main duties of Project Partnering Contracts are to assist in identifying properties for inclusion into Work Packages. Carry out site inspections and inform the Client Partnering Manager or Project Manager if works do not comply with contract conditions.

You will be required to undertake Stock Condition Surveys using both PDA and standard survey sheets.

You will also undertake joint Decent Homes Surveys / Inspections with Contractors; carry out quality monitoring checks on the content and standard of Decent Homes Surveys undertaken.

To be considered for this role you will need to have a track record of working on public sector housing improvement schemes.
