This role is for an Assistant Electrical Engineer in the field of building services. Most of the projects you'll be involved in are within the rail sector, so you'll be expected to produce designs, calculations, specifications and drawings for electrical services for new stations, station extensions and refurbishments and car parks. Some projects are in the industrial sector, including external lighting design and renewables.
You have previous consultancy experience working on small / medium sized building services projects, where you have carried out internal and external lighting design, cable sizing calculations, LV distribution systems, CCTV systems, electrical protection and discrimination calculations. You're competent in the use of various relevant software packages including Dialux (or Relux) and Amtech. If you've worked in the building services rail field in the past, that will only help your application.
You've got a degree in electrical or building services engineering and are a member of a relevant professional body (or in the process of applying to one).
