Policy Planner

Policy Planner is required to join a local authority in Norfolk on a permanent basis.

You will be working on The Local Development Framework your duties will consist of you working together with the other policy team to ensure that all targets are met, that effective decisions are taken regarding all policy plans. You will also be liaising with the development control team to assist in the final decision making of applications, so ideally you will have relevant development control experience. Attending meetings and public inquiries will also be part of your daily activities so you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also be required to assist and provide a reliable service to members of the community. Must have a degree in planning or equivalent and hold a full UK's drivers license.
