HIGHWAYS CAD OPERATOR

Reporting to the Highways Function Manger, you will be primarily responsible for the preparation of detailed two dimensional drawings using AutoCAD on a variety of projects for a variety of teams. The CAD team provides support to all the business functions including primarily highways, bridges, geotechnics and environmental solutions.

Your responsibilities will be to produce accurate drawings using AutoCAD 2004, monitor financial status and progress of schemes to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget, coordination with other CAD technicians in the production of drawings and ensuring all work is undertaken in accordance with company and customer requirements and procedures

You must have experience and knowledge of appropriate design standards and ideally working towards an appropriate Associate Membership of an Engineering Institution, but not essentially. Knowledge of MX or Civil 3D would also be an advantage.
