Project Building Surveyor

You will be providing professional building surveying skills to maintain, refurbish and undertake new build projects for Corporate property in this Local Authority.

You will project manage schemes, in particular within the Corporate Planned Maintenance Programme and DDA programme.

With responsibility for the financial performance of projects, to ensure that projects meet all statutory requirements such as CDM Regulations and to adhere to the Quality Management System.

Duties will also include the preparation of reports and other documents such as tender documents.

You will liaise with and advise all staff in the division, clients, other council staff, central government staff, contractors and consultants.

You will be AutoCAD literate and have a background in construction and of managing works in non-housing property.
