Claims Manager

A major international construction/engineering consultant is looking for a Claims Manager to take charge of their team who has been working on an Airport development in Doha. The role will involve implementing effective Claims and Prime Contract Management techniques, establish and enforce cost and contracts administration and claims procedures. You will also provide functional direction and/or supervision to all contracts personnel assigned to a project or office, in accordance with applicable directives, management instructions, procedures and functional guidelines.

Key Skills:

• Experience in the formation, negotiation and award of all types of contracts, including cross-functional experience in two or more contract disciplines.
• Broad experience in claims and contract administration.
• Knowledge of change management procedures pertaining to requests for Information such as change notices, change orders, amendments, and claims and dispute resolution.
• Experience in supervising personnel, workload distribution and execution of the work, as well as administration of personnel actions.
