An international cost and project management consultant that continues to maintain a family orientated atmosphere has been awarded a new commission with the Dublin Airport Authority. The commission involves monitoring/mentoring PQS performance on a €690m project involving the new terminal at Dublin Airport.
Currently the team they have in place is not a sufficient size to handle this project while several others are still running and thus they need to recruit a Quantity Surveyor with previous civil aviation or major construction project experience.
Duties:
- Enhancing quality of Project Reporting
- Challenging values associated with Change Monitoring and reporting on change control
- Monitoring and reporting on contingency utilisation
- Protecting clients commercial position with regard to claims, variations and audit trails
- Manage 1 to 2 Assistant Quantity Surveyors
Skills
- MRICS or equivalent
- Aviation experience (not essential)
- Experience in construction phase of major projects
- 2 to 3 years major project experience
