Project Quantity Surveyors (Design Engineering – Transportation Projects)

An award winning engineering design consultancy who are currently one the busiest international consultants in London despite the economic down turn, have an immediate requirement for 2 Project Quantity Surveyors from an engineering background. On average they have been awarded a new contract every couple of weeks; the projects are typically based in the UK, Middle East and Eastern Europe and have either been transportation or defence contracts. They are looking to further diversify the type of projects they currently handle and are planning to target the Oil and Gas sector.
To be suitable for the role you'll need to possess some previous engineering project experience in one of the following areas:
- Rail
- Water
- Defence
- Power
- Highways
- Airports
- Communications
- Structural Engineering
- Tunnelling
- Mining
- Marine
- Oil & Gas
You'll also need to possess a confident outlook and the ability to contribute to client meetings and have a good commercial ability, either pre contract or post contract. In return they offer further one on one training, the chance to work overseas if you wish, regular pay and performance reviews and excellent promotion prospects.
