Project Manager

The opportunity

A leading project management consultancy who are currently working on a number of iconic buildings in Dubai now require Project Managers with a sound project management background. You will have experience within the buildings sector and will have managed some of the following project types, Commercial Buildings, Hotels, Residential Buildings, Medical Facilities, and High Rise Construction at all stages of the project.

Key elements of the role are: -

• Client empathy, relationship building & repeat/expand business
• Service delivery planning, review & capturing information
• People care and development
• Reinforcement of culture and behaviour
• Quality control of service delivery
• Value engineering
• Working in an integrated team
• Review/Production of monthly reports
• Review/Analysis of construction programmers
• Risks and opportunity management.
• Manage and control change
• Skills / Experience Required
• Solid project management experience
• Professionally qualified (MCIOB, MRICS, MAPM, etc.)
• Technically strong core project skills
• Experience of major capital projects
• Customer focused
• Understanding of performance measurement tools
• Strong influencing and negotiations skills
• Team player with team leader qualities with the ability to plan, manage and co-ordinate workload
• Sound understanding of IT generally with specific skills in Word and Excel
• Smart and presentable with good all round communication skills capable of dealing effectively with people at all levels including the Client
• Presentation skills
• Experience of International forms of contract (i.e. FIDIC, NEC, etc.,) an advantage
