Electrical Engineer

You're an electrical engineer with a good general appreciation and experience of electrical engineering in an infrastructure design environment, which preferably will include building services, LV distribution and switchgear. You'll be expected to have knowledge in the following areas: BS7671, HV distribution, signalling power supplies incorporating generators and UPS, awareness of meeting financial and delivery targets, a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word (AutoCAD and Hevacomp an advantage), preparation of reports calculations and drawings.

You'll design electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and have experience in the design of LV/HV distribution systems and electrical building services and be familiar with industry standard software design packages. You'll be qualified to HNC/HND Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Ideally you'll have had railway experience, but it is not essential. For this job you'll need good M&E engineering skills with both design office and site experience, also a good knowledge of design and construction principles and standards. You'll be joining a Leading company operating in the rail industry
