Proactive, motivated mechanical design engineer wanted to join a large multi-disciplined consultancy that is committed to growing their UK building services operations. You will join a thriving team in Manchester.
You're capable of designing, delivering and managing projects effectively and you're able to spot opportunities for business development. More specifically, your area of expertise means you have a proven track record designing mechanical services for buildings, such as HVAC and HCWS and you are a competent user of the Hevacomp and Cymap computer packages.
As this is a senior role, you'll be expected to lead by example and mentor those engineers who fall under your direction. You'll also be responsible for design reviews, budgetary control and the continued growth of the team. In your time within the building services industry, you've amassed an in-depth knowledge of the sector which you will share with your team. You are a chartered engineer (or are working towards such status) and you are educated to a minimum of HNC level (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering.
