You'll be expected to provide mechanical designs for a range of projects in Dubai under the direction of an associate - associate director. Other aspects of your role will include:
Preparing technical schedules
Planning and managing CAD documentation of design work
Working with and overseeing the work of a CAD technician
Attending meetings with various stakeholders
Ensuring work is carried out to deadlines and budgets
Co-ordinating your work with other members of the project team
Ensuring that company practices, policies and official legislation and standards are adhered to at all times
Working towards chartered status
Assisting in the development of junior engineers
You have previous consultancy experience designing mechanical services for buildings including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and hot and cold water systems (HCWS) and you are educated to degree level (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering.
