This organisation is involved in the Organisation & Management of Fire Testing, Fire Modelling, Passive Fire Protection Assessments and Structural Fire Engineering. With offices in the UK, Northern Ireland and America this organisation has a great deal of involvement in the Oil and Gas (Onshore and Offshore), Energy, Security and Commercial Sectors.

In this role, you will be involved with the Passive Fire Protection Service that this organisation is involved in. This is directed on facilities associated with the Production and Processing of Hydrocarbons both Onshore and Offshore. You will be involved with Condition Assessments, Fire Risk Analysis, Specification Development, QA/QC auditing and be advising clients on how to optimise the locations and thickness of the Passive Fire Protection to reduce cost, weight, and maintenance requirements.

In this role, you will be involved in the Structural Fire Protection of the services provided, material technology, safety engineering, integrity management and liaising with clients, contractors and sub-contractors. You will be working in the UK or Ireland and internationally on multi-million pound projects.

Person Specification

• A good Fire Engineering or Structural Engineering Degree
• You will have experience with Structural Design or Structural Fire Engineering Analysis
• Non-Linear Analysis Experience
• CFD Modelling Experience
• You will have a good track record within a Fire Engineering Consultancy
• You will have experience with Structural Fire Engineering Calculations
• You will have experience within the Oil and Gas sector
